Food Production Operative, Ossett, £26,000 per year, Monday to Friday plus overtime, Rotating shifts including nights, Free parking

My well established client based in the Ossett area of Wakefield requires an experienced Production Operative to perform daily operational tasks within the manufacturing team. This is an ongoing Temporary to Permanent contract for a Production Operative, working full time hours on a rotating shift pattern including nights.

This is a varied role and as you progress through each department your skills and duties will change and increase. Responsibilities could include –

* FLT driving
* Food Production
* Quality Assurance
* Packing
* Hygiene and cleaning
* Paperwork
* Weighing materials
* Maintenance support
* Attending regular production meetings

A Counterbalance Fork Lift Truck Licence is desirable but not essential.

You will ideally have experience within a similar FLT / warehouse / production role. Knowledge and experience of food hygiene and manufacturing is also desirable.

This role is working rotating weekly shifts, 6am-2pm/2pm-10pm/10pm-6am and the hourly Salary: is £26,000.

This is a temporary role however could lead to permanent employment for the right candidate.
