Warehouse Supervisor – Evening Shift – Food

As a result of internal promotion, an innovative food business is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to work an evening shift pattern.

The Opportunity

Covering stock and replenishment responsibilities, you will take a hands-on approach to leading a team of operatives. Working a 7pm to 3am 5 day shift pattern, you will spend the last hour and a half of your shift as the senior shift manager on site, helping coordinate the shutdown of operations.

You’ll use your strong people management skills to lead teams of up to eight operatives, motivating them and making sure targets are met. Your KPIs will be based around stock keeping levels and incident levels.

Promoting a culture of continuous improvement, you will suggest changes that will positively impact productivity on site.

You will ensure a safe and organised environment is maintained at all times, and will take responsibility over HR procedures affecting your team (e.g. lates, sickness, disciplinaries).

To Interview

You will be able to demonstrate a hands-on people management style, with previous experience of some of the typical HR functions associated with a management role.

You will hold a fork lift license, and have previous experience working in a warehouse with a high SKU count. Professionals with experience of a chilled and frozen warehouses will be preferred.
