Nursery Nurse

Salary: £26,000 per year

Currently recruiting for a Qualified Nursery Nurse to join well established nursery setting in Feltham. Due to recent increase in children we require an additional Level 3 Qualified Nursery Nurse.

This nursery cares for over 30 children and this role is based in the toddler room. This is a permanent role, working 40 hours a week. As a Level 3 qualified Nursery Nurse, you role would be to assist with training the junior staff and working as a key worker.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of Level 3 early years qualification and previous experience as a Nursery Nurse or Nursery Assistant and a great passion for working with children.

Nursery Nurse Duties include but not limited to:

* Completing observations and learning journals

* Individual planning

* taking part in 2 year checks

* Cleaning the room

* Playing with the children

* Building relationships with the children and parents

Nursery Nurse Requirements:

* Minimum Level 3 qualification in childcare education

* Good interpersonal skills and an ability to be organised and efficient

* The ability to support trainees through mentoring and coaching

* Acting as Key-worker and to observe

* A working knowledge of the Children’s Act.

* Good communication skills both with children and parents

* Ability to form good interactions with children and use own initiative

* Knowledge of Ofsted requirements and the EYFS.

* Working 40 hours per week
