General Operatives

Due to significant increase in production, my client who are a well-established and successful manufacturing organisation based in North Lanarkshire are currently recruiting for General Operatives to join their modern and expanding factory.

Working within a fast paced production factory, you will be tasked with operating various cutting saws ensuring that productivity and efficiency targets are achieved, understanding design specifications whilst complying and adhering to company Health & Safety policies and procedures and general housekeeping.

Essential requirements:

• Proven track record working within a manufacturing/production facility
• Physically fit
• Sound knowledge and understanding of H&S standards in the workplace

These positions are on an initial 12 week contract through the agency with a view of progressing into permanent posts depending on performance throughout the 12 week period.

Hours of work are Monday – Thursday 8am until 4.30pm and Friday 8am until 3pm.
