My Client, an excellent Company to work for, with unprecedented benefits, are now looking to recruit an experienced Electrical, Controls & Instrumentation Engineer (E,C & I Engineer) to join their team. You will be a flexible and capable Engineer who can cope with the service and development demands of a continuous process. You will have knowledge of SCADA programming.
The Role: Electrical, Controls & Instrumentation Engineer (EC&I Engineer)
Execute electrical, control and instrumentation (E, C & I) maintenance tasks
Deal with preventive, predictive, reactive, fault finding, calibration, programming/ editing, test and inspection activities.
Review, improve and maintain reliability, accuracy and availability of automation equipment and systems.
Contribute and provide technical input to specify, design, simulate, test, install and commission E, C & I equipment and systems
Coordinate E, C & I yearly maintenance activities and contracts
Provide technical support during equipment failures after hours as needed.
Support and contribution toward maintenance planning/scheduling, spare parts management, reliability and project functions
Skills / Qualifications / Experience: Electrical, Controls & Instrumentation Engineer (EC&I Engineer)
Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent subject
5 years’ proven experience and competency in similar role in heavy production / manufacturing environment
Strong understanding of electrical, control and instrumentation systems (i.e. level sensors, pressure transducers, etc.)
Programming, editing and fault finding experience on Siemens systems (PCS7 and Step 7) and SCADA
Reasonable understanding and experience of mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic and process systems
Practical experience of managing High Voltage distribution up to 11kV is desirable
SAP experience
17th edition wiring regulations desirable
NEBOSH or IOSH desirable
