Salary: £36,000 – £48,000 per year
A leading defence organisation is looking for a Lead Commercial Officer to join the team, working for the Commercial manager you’ll provide input into tenders, prepare quotations and prepare and negotiate contract and contractual agreements across all business units.
As a Lead Commercial Officer your key responsibilities will include…
*Evaluating and preparing responses to customer enquiries and Invitations to Tender
*Negotiation of prime contracts with UK/ overseas customers and with the MOD
*Advising Purchasing on the contract conditions for sub-contractors
*Advising Programme Managers on all contractual aspects and delivery on time and against budget
*Drafting contract documentation and agreements of a contractual nature (joint venture/ software licenses)
*Liaise with customers at all levels.

Ideally you’ll have held a similar Commercial or Contracts role and be familiar with MoD contract conditions and procedures. Experience of contract negotiation and/or PFI contracts would be beneficial. Knowledge of import and export controls and procedures and experience of Export Licensing would be advantageous.
