OVERVIEW:
A leading food manufacturer is currently recruiting for a skilled engineer/pipe fitter to join their engineering team. This is a day’s based role offering security, a generous package and a chance to work for a large organisation who supplies products to the UK’s leading supermarkets.

THE ROLE OF A PIPE FITTER:
As a pipe fitter you will be responsible for carrying out plant shut downs across the factory; repairing any faults with the pipe work including leakage repairs, maintaining steam systems and carrying out installations of new pipe work across the site.
This will be a role that should keep the successful candidate very busy, with large industrial steam systems installed throughout the site as a core aspect of their manufacturing process, there will be lots to get involved with!

KEY SKILLS:
To be considered for this role you will be a time-served pipe fitter, with proven experience in industrial pipe fitting, ideally within a factory, water, steam or gas plant environment.
An understanding of electrical work and familiarisation of how an automated plant works and operates will be a distinct advantage.

Well established in their field they are a leading food manufacturer in the UK, supplying 800 Tonnes of their product at this site every week to all the major supermarkets. They also have 5 other large industrial sites across the UK Specialising in high volume production of a variety of other quality goods.

SALARY: £38,160
