Health & Social Care Trainer/ Assessor
Location: Kent Region
Are you experienced in the Health & Social Care Industry with specific experience within adult and elderly care? Have you worked to supervisory or management level?
Our supportive Work-Based Learning team are seeking a self-motivated and people focussed candidate to join our expanding team, covering the Kent Region
This exciting opportunity is field based across the Kent region, open to qualified and non-qualified Assessors and will require frequent travel across various locations to coach learners throughout their qualifications. (You must have use of your own car).
This exciting position will allow you to draw upon your experience of the Adult Care/Social Care industry to provide learners in their workplaces with support and training, enabling them to realise their career potential.
Desirable requirements are:
• NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care
• Functional Skills L(Mathematics, English & ICT) (at Level 2 or above)
• Knowledge of government funded employment and training programme
• Supervisory or managerial level experience within the Adult Care Industry (Elderly Care and/or Dementia experience) within a residential care setting.
Essential Requirement:
• Excellent background in the Health & Social Care industry
• Ability to demonstrate sector knowledge –Health & Social Care industry,
• IT competent with working knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Full UK Driving Licence/ You must have use of your own Vehicle
A DBS (formerly CRB) check prior to commencement of role is required.
Salary & Benefits:
• A starting salary of £26,000per year
• 25 days Annual Leave plus Bank Holidays
• Business mileage at 45ppm from home
