Software Engineer (Typescript)

Salary: £48,000 – £72,000 per year

Software Engineer (TypeScript, Node.js, back end focus), £40k to £60k, Fleet / Part remote / Hybrid

As a Software Engineer you will join the product team to design and deliver their amazing financial investment software.

You will have a passion for code quality, maintainability and user experience design, working alongside business stakeholders to ensure a first class product is being delivered to customers.

Key Responsibilities:

* Design, deliver, test and implement excellent software by writing clean, maintainable, testable, code

* Participate in a highly collaborative environment; pair programming, code reviews etc.

* Share a sense of collective responsibility for delivery commitments, with a focus on clean code principles and automated testing

* Regularly communicate with business stakeholders to understand how the business operates

* Understand and solve complex financial challenges

Ideal Skills:

* 3+ years Software Development experience

* 2+ years experience with Node.js

* TypeScript (or other typed language)

* SQL

* Git

Advantageous Skills:

* PostgreSQL

* AWS

* Docker / Kubernetes

* Financial experience

* TeamCity (CI)

* Agile principles
