Night Sortation Operative

Working out of a thriving distribution centre for an internationally renowned client. Ongoing opportunities for hard working and conscientious employee’s.

Client Description:

Our client is a National Parcel Delivery company working in an industry which is growing at a rapid pace. Our client requires intelligent and skilled FLT drivers that are available for ongoing work. Experience with Multi Drop parcel distribution system is ideal but not essential.

Key Duties:

* Sorting items by hand into compartments on a sorting frame
* Overseeing the automatic sorting process, ensuring that the machinery is in full working order
* Scanning parcels
* Moving mail around the office between conveyor belts, loading docks and trolleys
* Moving mailbags from cages, sorting mailbags and bundles of mail into cages
* Loading and unloading wheeled containers from vehicles to the dispatch areas using an FLT.

Skills Required:

* You must be flexible
* Honesty is a necessity along with an upbeat attitude, proactive work ethic and a refreshing smile.
* You will be required to complete a drug and alcohol test and CRB check prior to employment.
* Start from around 2am for approx an 8 hour shift
* Must be able to work 5 days out of a 7 day operation (including weekends)
