Our client is one of the largest multiplex cinema operators in the UK and Ireland who are experiencing successful growth in Europe. They are currently on the lookout for an enthusiastic Manager to join their 13 screen cinema in Longwell Green, Bristol.
The Role
As a Cinema Manager you will manage the day-to-day running of the cinema, playing a key part in the successful delivery of the cinema’s goals and objectives.
You will ensure compliance with all legal requirements and company policies, delivering consistently high standards across all areas of the cinema. You’ll manage and develop a high performing team that take pride in providing an excellent experience in a friendly and helpful way.
Supporting the General Manager to implement the cinemas business plan and creating a profitable business, no two days will ever be the same!
About you
* Management experience in a customer-facing, fast-paced business in the retail, hospitality, leisure or restaurant sector
* Experience of managing in an environment with a turnover in excess of £3m and high volume customer footfall
* Experience of managing a team of circa 30-40 people with direct line management responsibility for at least 2 supervisors
* You will be planned and organised with the ability to multi-task
* Drive, enthusiasm and a good sense of humour are a must!
* Able to work early and late shifts on a rota basis across all 7 days of the week
