Based in the city of Edinburgh my client are looking for a Transport Planning Consultant to join their team. My client is a renowned multinational company and the ideal candidate will have prior experience working as a Transport Planner helping to develop strategies and policies as well as some knowledge of modelling software. The starting salary for this role is flexible depending on your experience and comes with a benefits package.
Qualifications – Educated to degree level in a relevant discipline. A full driving license is essential.
Experience – 1+ years’ experience in the transport planning field

Working as a Transport Planning Consultant your duties will include:
*Assist transport statements and travel plans
*Scheme identification
*Report writing
*Preparing funding bids
*Help to develop transport strategies and policies
*Knowledge of relevant legislation
*Knowledge of at least transport planning modelling software (eg. SATURN)
