What’s the role?

Assist the Site Managers and Foreman in managing the site to ensure that all work undertaken on is compliant with all health, safety & environmental legislation and best practices, and in accordance with all Railway Group, Network Rail and the clients Standards. To develop positive relationships with all parties associated with the project and ensure that it is delivered on time and to the agreed quality whilst ensuring that client expectations regarding quality and programme are wherever possible exceeded.

What will I be responsible for?

 Assist in the delivery of projects

 Manage allocated team personnel and project materials on a daily basis.

 Ensure that works undertaken are completed to target and budget.

 Maintain the highest safety standards on site and take steps to ensure that these standards and targets are met consistently.

 Monitor safety and environmental performance on site.

 Ensure all works carried out by the team consistently meet, or exceed, quality assurance standards and requirements.

 Promote and ensure that BBS (Behavioural based Safety) practises are used on sites.

 Carry out Tool Box Talks (TBT) weekly.

 Ensure that the team works in compliance with environmental legislation and company standards.

 Responsible for informing the Transport Co-ordinator of person’s driving any vehicle with a Digital Taco Graph Card on a Daily basis.

 To carry out any additional duties agreed with your line manager in relation to holiday & sickness cover etc
