Urgent Warehouse Manager

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced warehouse manager to manage the day to day operation of a warehouse for an international organisation. The successful candidate will be overseeing the efficient receipt, storage and dispatch of a variety of products. The right candidate will be able to manage people, processes and systems to ensure productivity targets are met. This is the opportunity for a warehouse manager with strong people management skills looking to build a career with a dynamic organisation.

Main duties:
Planning, coordinating and monitoring the receipt, order assembly and dispatch of products
Efficiently utilising the warehouse space ensuring quality control and budgets are met
Organising training of staff, as well as monitoring staff performance
Keeping stock control systems up to date and ensuring inventory accuracy
Planning future capacity and staffing requirements
Briefing senior management by producing reports and statistics
Maintaining health and safety, hygiene and security in the work environment

Skills required:
Must be available to start immediately
Strong management skills
Excellent work ethic with ability to work flexible hours when required
Strong numerical skills
Logical reasoning and problem solving skills
Excellent IT-skills, particularly database management and spread sheets

Person Specification:
Two years’ experience minimum
Accurate with a good eye for detail
The ability to work under pressure and problem solve
Flexible attitude.
