Location: North West

Salary: Depending on experience +car or allowance +holidays +pension +healthcare +overtime as and when required

Job Type: Permanent

Hours: Monday to Friday 8:30am-5:30pm- a level of flexibility is required as and when weekend work is required

The role

I am looking for an experienced Senior Planner to join an established but ever growing team based in the North West. The successful candidate is likely to come from an engineering background, however, if you have started your career on site and progressed to a Site Manager level, as long as you have 5 years solid planning experience on rail projects then you will also be suitable.

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to;

Compiling programmes

Looking after a portfolio of work with a value of £300,000-£5m

Attending client meetings

*
Producing reports

*
Dealing with drawings

*
Working closely with the Project Manager/Design Manager

Experience Required

*
Experience dealing with drawings

*
String rail experience- specific to Civil Engineering projects

*
Structures or Earthworks experience

*
5 years planning experience

*
Strong P6 experience with a qualification

*
Experience managing a portfolio of jobs (up to 15)

*
Must have worked on projects from grip stage 3-5

*
Client facing

*
Strong IT skills- particular to reporting

*
Strong rail construction experience

Qualifications Needed

*
HNC/HND/Degree in Civil Engineering- PREFERABLE

*
PTS- Preferable

*
P6 Qualification- Essential
