Principal Ecologist

Salary: £39,600 – £48,000 per year

Are you a Principal level Ecologist who enjoys setting out rather than sitting in the office? Are you based in Oxfordshire and looking for a role which will enable you to get out in the field and enjoy being an ecological consultant as much as using your technical report writing expertise.

My client, a well established Ecological Consultant is a well known name within permitting, and is keen to find a strong Principal Ecologist to join their team, enabling further team growth. They work within residential development, infrastructure, but not HS2…

The team has a flat structure and is a truly team effort with little hierarchy. In terms of licences there is an expectation that you would have some, ideally bats, although if you don’t have licences, but the right level of experience, there can certainly be a discussion. Experience of Biodiversity / Defra calculations and metrics is also knowledge is a bonus.
