Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer
Stoke on Trent
£48,960 per annum
8-hour shifts, mornings, afternoons and nights over 7 days (4 on, 2 off, 3 on, 3 off)
Working as part of the maintenance team at the Stoke on Trent site of a global manufacturing organisation. This opportunity would suit an ambitious engineer with electrical and mechanical maintenance experience in a continuous manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities will include:
* Preventive and reactive maintenance on a range of equipment including conveyors, extruders, presses
* Assist with continuous improvement initiatives and engineering projects
Applicants should have:
* Completed a recognised apprenticeship with appropriate City & Guilds / NVQ / BTEC qualification at level 3 or above
* Electrical and mechanical engineering experience
* Good knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic & pneumatic control systems
* Working knowledge of PLC’s
* Ability to work alone or as part of a small team
* Be able to work with vibrating tools and heavy components
Basic salary £48,960per annum with discretionary quarterly and annual bonuses and excellent benefits including healthcare and pension schemes.
