Salary circa 30-35k dependent on skills and experience + uncapped ote + car allowance

Regional and national travel – must live in a commutable distance to the head office in Harrogate
OPEC specialise in bespoke environmental products and problem-solving covering a broad spectrum of technologies and solutions to clean up the environment. Due to continued expansion we are now looking for a highly experienced Technical field sales manager join our team.
The role will involve regional and national travel with some overnight stays on an ad hoc basis. The Role is split between the head office in Harrogate and home.
Our requirements
We are looking for a sales hungry, motivated and enthusiastic individual who is highly skilled in driving technical sales and can contribute to the bottom line and help us grow!
This is a varied and exciting role and requires an innovative creative person who can think outside the box, someonewho has a strong technical background with PROVEN experiencegained from either the RAIL industry or WASTEWATER food industry is Essential.
Role Responsibilities but not limited to:
* Manage and develop existing contracts provide technical advice to clients and upsell solutions with a consultative approach.
* Generate new business within all industries and especially focusing on both rail and food industry
* Quotation generation technical report writing
* On-site survey’s required
* Planning works to meet with contract KPIs ensuring works are undertaken to the appropriate standard and documented correctly working with clients to resolve issues.
Experience required
* Technical background with a degree in engineering coupled with sales experience providing a demonstration of proactive selling is required
* Industry experience of either rail or wastewater – Essential
* Experience with proposal writing and lead generation
* Must be able to work independently under your own initiative
* Can work and liaise closely with both internal and external colleagues
* An understanding of CAD drawings
