Electrical Engineer

Salary: £36,000 per year

What the Electrical Engineer role offers:

Starting salary up to circa £36,000negotiable depending on skills/experience
Full time, 39 hours a week with early finish every Friday

The Electrical Engineer role includes:

Support Verification & Validation testing
Circuit Analysis and Simulation
Design for Manufacture / EMC / Environmental / Reliability
Perform Component level testing on software, populated PCBs, and electrical assemblies
Fault finding to component level
Optionally to perform embedded software development using C/C++ or FPGA development

AND EITHER

Design Power Supply and mixed signal modules
Perform Analogue and/or Digital circuit design and power supply design
Perform Schematic Capture using ECAD software
Located Cambridgeshire

OR

Perform system level electrical design including design for electrical system EMC / Environmental / Reliability targets (Aerospace)
Provide assistance to lead engineers in fault finding of, and modifications to, prototype products
Perform software validation testing
Located Essex

The candidate: Is this you?

Ideally Bachelors/Masters in Electronics/Electrical (HNC/HND level considered)
Good practical experience and skills in a lab environment
Experience of aerospace, defence or automotive industry
Product design and design team liaison experience
Ideally experience using LabVIEW/MATLAB and testing embedded systems
Ideally detail design of digital and analogue Electrical/Electronic systems
Able to work permanently in Cambridgeshire or Essex (see specific duties re location)
Ideally a driver with own transport
