Recognition Consultant/ Business Development Executive

About the Business Development Executive Role

The Recognition Consultant/Business Development Executive works closely with the Higher Education sector to obtain recognition of PSI Services’ English Language Testing products through personal prospecting and recognition campaigns. The focus is on effectively getting higher education institutions (HEIs) to accept and display their recognition of PSI ELT products, primarily Skills for English, through conversion and moving opportunities through the recognition process to full recognition.

This role is a part-time permanent position, during typical office hours. There will be occasional travel required for events, meetings and workshops. Day-to-day, this role is performed remotely.

Business Development Executive Role Responsibilities

· Managing and reporting on prospects/clients at every stage of the recognition process, including initial recognition, offer letters, website acknowledgement, brochure, agents, becoming a test centre in their own right.

· Understanding the client’s needs and the recruitment process that HEIs use to recruit international students.

· Understanding broader international student market trends.

· Creating new recognitions through lead follow-up.

· Timely and impactful responses to client enquiries.

· Researching prospects, identifying key stakeholders and generating interest through understanding customer needs and requirements.

· Communicating the value of PSI’s English language products and solutions to customers to help them recognise. Work with internal stakeholders and key influencers in an HEI which may include the Language Centre, different faculties, international head of student recruitment, etc.

· Presenting product presentations to customers in meetings.

· Proactively and diligently work to close recognitions through meetings, presentations, and client contact.

· Keeping Salesforce/CRM system up to date with personal recognition activity and current recognition opportunities.

Business Development Executive Knowledge, Skills and Experience Requirements

· Experience in the English language assessment and education sector required, especially connected to HEIs.

· Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365, SharePoint also desirable.

· Proficiency with Salesforce or other CRM system desirable.

· Proven experience in providing superior client service.
