Activity Coordinator

The Inn Group are recruiting on behalf of a leading Welfare to Work provider for an Activity Coordinator in the West Yorkshire region.

We are currently looking for 5 Activity Coordinator’s in 5 sites in: Leeds x1, Dewsbury x1, Bradford x1, Huddersfield x1 and Wakefield x1.

Job purpose

We are enhancing our employment teams to deliver effective training into the provider’s provision and customer journey. The team provides job search and employment training to customers in both structured and individual learning environments. Accredited vocational training courses are also delivered, therefore aspirations to improve CPD or existing occupational/vocational competence is desirable.

The role of Activity Coordinator is to provide employability skills training and support & guidance to customers to enable them to move into sustainable employment.

Knowledge skills & experience

We are looking for caring people who are passionate about supporting and motivating the long term unemployed through their development journey, our essential requirements are:

Knowledge of training process, delivery of employability skills training and learning styles
Experience of delivering training to unemployed adults (groups and one to one)
Knowledge of local labour markets
Basic IT Skills
Adult teaching qualification (PTTLS/CTTLS/DTTLS) or equivalent.
GCSE Grade A or B in English
Occupational experience and competence in delivering teaching/tutoring
Ability to handle multiple tasks, priorities & deadlines
Experience in coaching and influencing
Organisational Skills
Excellent Written & Verbal Communication
