Trainee Pensions Administrator

Great opportunity to join a FTSE 100 company – the largest Business Process Outsourcing company in the UK.

We are looking for a Trainee Pensions Administrator to join our Employee Benefits division in Bristol. Our team in Bristol provide Pension Support and solutions for a number of key clients across the UK.

The Trainee Pensions Administrator will work within the team to process events for the scheme members and their dependants in line with service level agreements, to provide optimum levels of customer service to the client in terms of quality cost and time.

Responsibilities
* Receive training to provide accurate quotations and processing of refunds, deferreds, transfers, retirements, deaths, etc, ensuring that, where appropriate, suitable discharges and proof of eligibility exist.
* Maintaining the database in accordance with agree best practice and in accordance with Pensions Office training.
* Assisting with the preparation of annual Benefit Statements and membership schedules.
* Answer general enquiries professionally on both the Scheme help lines and via correspondence, referring queries to Senior Administrators, as appropriate.
* Regularly reviewing outstanding work and, where appropriate, referring to Senior Administrators with any potential problems.
* At all times, follow the procedures laid down in the Administration Guides and ISO Procedure Manuals.

Suitable candidates should have excellent communication skills, GCSE Qualification’s of at least Grade C or above in English and Maths’s or equivalent, an understanding of Pensions would be an advantage but not essential. Ability to establish working relationships with clients and staff is important as is being able to adapt to varying demands and workloads and work under pressure
