Salary: £108,000 – £132,000 per year
** Tech Lead (JavaScript, Frontend, Node.js), £90k to £110k, Fleet / Hybrid **
Avanti Recruitment is currently working with an award-winning financial software company with operations in Fleet, Hampshire.
As a Tech Lead you will be the most senior technologist in a cross-functional feature team, taking the lead on design, implementation, testing and delivery of their software platform.
As part of a specialist financial product team you will work with senior business leaders to provide excellent experiences for customers, with a focus on user experience and code quality.

Role responsibilities;
– Produce outstanding, maintainable software
– Provide technical leadership to the software engineering team
– Participate in a fun and collaborative environment (pair programming, code reviews)
– Focus on clean code principles and automated testing
– Investigate and resolve production issues
– Understand complex financial challenges and find solutions
– Contribute to technical design discussions and decisions
– Drive an Agile environment
Person specification;
– Significant experience of developing with Front End JavaScript frameworks
– Strong Node.js experience
– Good solid experience with TypeScript or similar
– Microservices and event driven architecture
– SQL, Git
Bonus points for;
– Experience in a fintech company
– React experience
– Strong knowledge and interest of UX principles
– Docker, AWS, CI/CD
