Graduate Structural Engineers / Civil / Building / Construction

Located in sheffield, we are currently working in unison with an established manufacturing firm who provide services to the structural and civil engineering sectors. Due to continued demand for their products and services they are now looking to appoint a number of graduates for various roles within their design and support teams.

Ultimately they are looking for graduates to work as part of their design teams in the capacity of a draughtsman or as technical suppofrt consultants.

Varied in scope, the technical role would involve Working alongside the design team, where by you will be involved in Producing safe, practical, and cost-effective solutions to design problems encountered by Specifiers and Contractors. In conjunction with this you will be expected to respond to verbal and written technical enquiries regarding the company’s products with technically correct and well presented solutions using standard products, adaptations, and bespoke items.

Equally working in the capacity of a draughtsman, you would be working on the design and development of a number of bespoke products.

To be considered for these role you will need to have the following:

> Ability to understand structural problems, and able to produce solutions supported by calculations, engineering principles and past experience
> Engineering relevant degree / qualifications – such as structural engineering, civil engineering, or a building related course, for instance, interior design.

> Auto CAD experience
> Approachable
> Good communication skills
> Practical understanding of construction methods
