Salary: £433.2 – £487.2 per day

Front End Developer – Angular, Typescript, Bootstrap, JQuery

My client is seeking an experienced Front-End Developer to join their team in building, maintaining and supporting their Web based Front-end for an analytics platform using the Backend APIs, also designed in house. You will be working with a UX designer from time to time, so this also represents an opportunity to develop your design skills for the future. 

You will be working in a close knit agile team of experienced developers, product management and members of the consulting team, so previous experience working in an Agile environment is esential.

Candidates must have the following skills an experience:

5+ years in Front end development
3+ years of strong hands-on Angular 2+, Typescript development
Skills in JavaScript, Bootstrap, jQuery, CSS, SASS and responsive design
Experience in TDD and Front-end testing frameworks such as Karma, Jasmine
Understanding of Agile development practices
Understanding of REST APIs
Git and Continuous Integration
Understanding or able to incorporate Accessibility standards in the development (WCAG 2.0 – Level A/AA)
Good analytical and problem-solving skills as well as the ability to think creatively
Willingness to learn new technologies and frameworks and implement it as part of daily work
Must be capable of independent problem-solving and self-direction. 

This is a 12 month Fixed Term Contract role with the opportunity to go permanent afterwards.
