Nursery Deputy Manager

Salary: £31,200 – £34,800 per year

Shiraka Currently have a fantastic opportunity of a Nursery Deputy Manager position in North Watford. This is a split Nursery Deputy Manager role and your time will be in one of the rooms and assisting the Nursery manager in the office with admin duties.

This is a full time role working 40 hours per week and shifts are per rota. The opening hours are 730-1800. This is really a great opportunity to join a Nursery that invest in their staff and offer continuous development.

Nursery Deputy Manager requirements:

• Minimum 2 years’ post qualification experience
• Previous senior or Deputy experience in a Nursery Setting
• Minimum Level 3 early years qualification or equivalent
• Thorough understanding and knowledge of legislation including EYFS
• Empathetic, caring and friendly
• Experience of SEND
• Managing budgets, invoicing and payroll

Nursery Deputy Manager Duties:

• To oversee the efficient and safe running of the allocated Base Room
• To assist in coordinating rotas
• To maintain staff:child ratios at all times
• To contribute to the induction process for new and promoted staff
• To develop strong partnerships with parents, colleagues, children
