Milton Keynes College are looking to appoint an enthusiastic Course Team Leader to design and develop our Graphic Design courses.
The Digital & Creative Industry faculty is a dynamic and successful group of specialist courses with a highly motivated and experienced team of teaching staff dedicated to supporting students to achieve outstanding outcomes, delivering a broad range of programmes. You will be responsible for delivering Graphic Design across our provision of UAL courses at level 3 and within the higher education provision.
The ideal candidate should be an excellent practitioner within Graphic Design, with the ability to successfully teach a range of disciplines and to contribute to students understanding of contextual studies, as well as undertake the role of personal tutor to students. This includes assessments, live commercial jobs and art exhibitions. It is expected that candidates will have a professional knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, Photoshop, Illustrator and In Design and the experience of teaching website would be an advantage.

As the successful candidate for the role of Course Team Leader for Graphic Design, you will possess the following essential knowledge, skills and expertise:
Strong curriculum knowledge, course leadership and team working that delivers multiple and diverse teaching methods
An ability to develop the quality of the student experience that leads to outstanding outcomes
Highly developed course team leadership skills, and effective implementation of quality systems and engagement with student voice as a driver for quality improvement
A strong track record of good or better teaching and learning delivery across a range of levels, attaining high quality student outcomes
Experience of implementing a range of quality processes and systems within a further education environment

Hours: 37 hours per week, 52 weeks per annum
