Field Service Engineering Manager
Do you manage Field Service Engineers?
Interested in a new Field Service Engineering Managers position working for a fantastic market leading engineering company?
Do you have a good knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and electronic engineering?
I am looking to recruit a new Field Service Engineering Manager for a well established, market leading Coventry based company.
The position will involve managing field service engineers visits while giving outstanding customer service levels. This will involve building strong relationships with customers
You will be assisting in the diagnosis of technical equipment – ideally you will have experience working with a technical product – someone from the machine tool industry, or laser equipment, scientific, medical or healthcare devises.
We are looking for someone who understands complex equipment.
Ideally you will be a Degree qualified engineer, although someone with a good all round engineering knowledge will be considered.
We are looking for someone with management experience. Someone who is used to controlling and mentoring Service Engineers or who has worked in a similar position.
This is a market leading company – part of an international group of companies. They are excellent to work for – a great team.
Ideally, after product training, you will be able to diagnose system faults either by telephone or using remote diagnostics equipment and be able to recommend and supply spare parts to resolve faults without the need for Field Service visits.
When a visit is required, it will involve coordinating the equipment to be delivered to clients ahead of the Field Service Engineers arrival.
The position will occasionally involve staying away from home within the UK and Ireland although most clients are in the UK Midlands.
A Driving licence is essential for this position.
