Salary: £54,000 – £84,000 per year
Senior Electronics Engineer
Aberdeen
£45,000 – £70,000 + benefits
Main Duties:
*Design of electronics for surface and downhole tools.
*Circuit analysis, simulation, schematic capture and PCB design.
*Design of electronics for testing and manufacture.
*Design analogue and digital circuits for highly reliable systems.
*Development of hardware and software for testing and production.
*Generate engineering documentation and reports.
*Test designs and tools.
Required knowledge and experience:
*Electronics Engineering qualified to a degree level.
*Minimum of 7 years of experience in electronics design.
*Strong background in PCB design.
*Sound knowledge of amplifiers, analogue electronics and filters.
*Experience with firmware design.
*Experience with low level driver design and hardware abstraction layer.
*Good verbal and written communication skills.
*Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Desirable:
*Experience with MRP systems.
*Experience with downhole tools in the oil and gas.
*Experience in design for High temperature applications.
*Acoustic communications design experience.
