Pyramid8 are recruiting for a Warehouse Operative in a busy warehouse in Wetherby. They are looking for an enthusiastic Warehouse Operative to join their experienced team.
They are a fantastic business working in the design trade are consistently growing.
You will be working part as a team in the Despatch Warehouse, reporting to the Despatch Manager. Being a warehouse operative/multi-drop driver is a dual role, and it is essential that you are able to multi-task. The role will require working in the warehouse, undertaking duties such as wrapping items for despatch, using the fork-lift truck and general housekeeping, in addition to driving a van for local collections, local deliveries and on rare occasions you may be asked to drive further afield around the UK.
- Lifting heavy items
- Delivering/collecting items to and from customers
- Weekly van checks
- Maintaining housekeeping
- Promote a safe working environment
- Loading and unloading pallets using the FLT (fork-lift truck)
Skills required
- A least 1-year experience of working in a busy warehouse environment (essential)
- Full UK driving licence (essential)
- Transferrable FLT (counterbalance) licence (desirable)
- Able to lift heavy objects
- Handling/wrapping products with care
- Attention to detail
- Excellent organisational skills
- Positive Attitude
- Being able to work within a team
- Be adaptable
- Great timekeeping
- Ability to work to targets
- Be professional at all times
Hours:
07:30 – 16:00 Monday to Thursday
07:30 – 15:00
Salary
£26,000per year
