Mental Healthcare Practitioner
Perm
up to 35k
West Midlands ( with some travel around the region )

My client is recruiting a Mental Healthcare Practitioner to work with them in the West Midlands region.
The Mental Healthcare Practitioner will need to have both passion and an interest in empowering clients to effectively manage their mental health conditions. They will need be a dynamic, holistically orientated Health Care Professional that helps address the needs of Employment Support Allowance (ESA) Customers; progressing them closer to the labour market and, ultimately, into suitable and sustainable employment.
The ideal candidate will develop the role within the organisation providing support to the direction of the service and provide feedback and relevant information to the Senior Management Team on ESA delivery.
This is a multisite role with travel and the need to split time across our various sites in the West Midlands region.

The ideal candidate will need to be comfortable working flexibly as part of a team, be motivated at all times and have a passion to work with our customer group. Candidates wishing to apply should be able to demonstrate the following qualifications, skills and experience:
• Current and Full registration with the Health and Care Professions Council, or an equivalent UK professional body (such as BABCP or BACP)
• A good understanding of psychological evidence-based theories such as CBT and Motivational Interviewing and proven ability to demonstrate their application
• Experience in Coaching and Mentoring
• Excellent Time Management
• Excellent Communication Skills
• Excellent IT Skills
• Strong Organisational Skills
• Ability to work as part of a Team
• Clear understanding of confidentiality and its Compliance
• To set and work to SMART targets
• Comfortable and confident working in a target-driven environment
• Ability to work in a calm, logical and methodical way
• Experience of delivering health or wellbeing related group interventions, facilitating workshops or training sessions (Desirable)
• Experience of working with those who are unemployed and/or may have health or wellbeing related issues, disability with an understanding of vulnerable groups (Desirable)
