Finance Systems Analyst

Salary: £480 – £540 per day

A position has become available working within a Global business environment as a Finance Systems Analyst. This position will be based for their HQ in Farnborough, whereby you will be reporting into the Group Financial Controller. This position will support the Group finance reporting team with the preparation of financial reporting from a system administration and development perspective.

Finance Systems Analyst – About The Role

Ideally you will have experience of working with Taketik (or a similar system) and Sage 200. Your responsibilities will include the following:-

* Management of the financial consolidation process at Group level (including cashflow, intercompany transactions, balance sheet rules and a leasing solution) from a system perspective (Sage 200, Tagetik)

* New account creation across the group including correct approval levels for starters and leavers

* Maintaining work status control and rolling period (configuration of rolling period, both locking and unlocking where appropriate)

* Maintaining internal controls on data and support to ensure a strong IT controls environment

* Continuation of system development and improvement for financial controls

* Project manage key software system projects for this organisation

* Project work involved with M & A

The successful Finance Systems Analyst will have:

You will be working with an agile and global business environment and this will provide the right individual with the opportunity to take control of the finance systems (Sage 200 & Tagetik). Ideally you will have exposure to have both Sage 200 & Tagetik but candidates will be considered if you have Power Query and SQL knowledge.

This role would suit someone that is career focussed and looking to continue to evolve and develop with a business. You will be managing conflicting priorities and it is essential that you have experience of working within a similar business environment.
