Job Profile

As the successful CNC Miller Setter, you will be working alongside a friendly and welcoming team of other highly skilled Machinists for very approachable manager, offering a stable and well-structured role with detailed job packs.

Duties

* Setting and Operating CNC Milling machines, programming would be an advantage

* Machining complex parts and components from various general engineering materials such as Aluminium, Stainless Steel, Mild Steel and Brass

* Experience of CNC Turning would be an advantage

* Producing small components to tight tolerances from 1offs through to medium batch runs of 100 max, from detailed engineering drawings

* Manual Quality Control Inspection on first offs

Skills and Experience

* Set and Operate CNC Mills

* 3 axis Milling

* Heidenhain controls experience would be an advantage but will consider any controls as training can be provided if needed

* Able to read engineering drawings

Hours of Work & Benefits

* 40hrs per week

* 08.00 – 16.30, Monday – Friday

* Overtime paid from 39hrs per week x1.5hrs

* 25 days holiday + bank holidays, increasing up to 30 days after 5 years’ service
