South West Technical Sales Representative

Salary: £48,000 – £60,000 per year

A great opportinity to join our external field sales team, Zygology are a fixing solution provider, dealing with rivets, rivnuts, tools, Southco hardware, PEM clinch fasteners. We are looking for a motivated and well-spoken external sales representative. You will be responsible for maintaining an established customer base and developing new leads, communicating with customers, understanding their needs and providing a solution. Full technical training and support will be provided.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:.

• Arranging face to face meetings with new and current customers
• Respond to and resolve all customer questions, and emails promptly.
• Generate your own leads and follow up leads and opportunities which are generated by the office and website.
• Proactively stay in touch with our customers, nurture relationships, follow up on customers’ needs to confirm all business opportunities.
• Respond to our customer inquiries concerning products, their uses, distribution, and provide the best solutions for their projects and applications.

Essential Skills Knowledge and Experience:

• Computer literate – knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
• Self-Starter: have ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• To work collaboratively as part of a wider team
• Able to effectively manage time, meet deadlines, learn new tasks and skills, and willingness to what is necessary to get the job done right
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
• Full UK Driving Licence 
• Prior engineering, assembly or fastener experience.
