As a chemist or chemical engineering graduate with some experience in chemical industry, ideally in research laboratories you will be interested in a technical sales and marketing role. The items are very high tech items which are sold to professional chemists/chemical engineers involved in process development and scale up.
They will give full training to a chemist or chemical engineer looking to get into sales.

Duties will include:
• Supporting distributor activities involved in chemical and bio equipment within Europe including preparation of technical offers, assist in obtaining technical information, updates with company information, exhibition support, pricing and those marketing materials are available to them
• Assist in training new distributors.
• Direct product selling activity within Europe by working with Sales and Marketing Director to specifically focus on strategic geographic and application areas.
• Conduct basic customer demonstrations
• Maintain and expand company client database
• Play an important role in developing and maintaining the company’s image and reputation in the marketplace.
• Preparing and writing technical content for marketing materials
• Assist in preparation of exciting new application notes on key scientific areas of interest.
Experience and skills
• Degree in Science/engineering, ideally chemistry including some industrial experience.
• Experience required within the chemical laboratory environment.
• Direct experience with chemistry automation particularly advantageous.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
• Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Have good planning and organisational skills
• Have a flexible working attitude
• Be able to travel within Europe as needed
• Valid full driver’s license.
• Professional conduct and appearance that represents the company’s image to employees, customers, and partners.
• Working knowledge of chemical processes deployed in pharmaceutical and fine chemical R&D is preferred.
