Project Manager
Project Manager – Civil Engineering / Groundworks – London and Essex
Due to the increased workload and rapid expansion of this large and well respected groundworks contractor, they are looking to recruit an experienced Project Manager to begin managing sites throughout London and Essex. They are offering an excellent package and a stable permanent career opportunity.
As the Project Manager you will be responsible for successfully managing and delivering projects in the region of £15M, reporting into the Contracts Manager. You will have to support in the production of construction programmes taking into consideration the cost control process. You will have to oversee all aspects of on-site work, ensuring that it is following the construction programme, as well as being on budget and on time, you will also have to ensure that the work is complying with current health and safety legislation. You will have to attend regular meetings with the client throughout different stages of the project, ensuring they are being kept up to date with the progress, you will have to maintain a strong professional relationship with the clients in order to secure new work and business with them in the future.
You should be an experienced Project Manager with a proven background of working on high rise, RC frames and associated groundworks projects within a similar organisation. You should be Degree / HND qualified in Civil / Construction Engineering or related industry and should also hold a valid SMSTS, CSCS and full driving licence. You should have excellent communication and management skills, with strong knowledge of current health and safety legislation as well as being competent with using MS Office programmes.
