At least 6 Field Engineers are required by a leading global IT Services and Solutions provider to start asap (ideally by 27th May), based in locations St Albans, Milton Keynes, Crawley, Norwich, Liverpool and Birmingham. Flat fee of £144 /day (to Ltd company or Umbrella company). Must have own reliable vehicle and registration with adequate business car insurance and a clean valid licence. You will also be prepared to travel up to a maximum 200 miles (40p/mile) – 5 client sites maximum in a day. Roles will mainly be break fix for laptop, PC, printers, peripherals, etc. Contract will be directly with the client. You can demonstrate excellent communication (verbal and written) and customer service skills, accepting and delivering on all service calls assigned, completing all administration tasks associated with each call and have responsibility for control and return of assets and inventory, etc. You will be A+ certified (or equivalent) with several years experience in a similar Field Engineer / Field Technician role with an in depth understanding of Microsoft applications and Lotus Notes (server experience advantageous), strong troubleshooting skills across hardware and software, can assist remote technical teams with hands and eyes support, maintain all OEM Certifications as directed. Successful candidates will have to pass a criminal background and driving record check before beginning and then annually afterwards. You must also pass OEM certifications to progress to training.
