Production Team Member

Our large Blue Chip client based in North Manchester is looking for Production Team Members to join their team on a temp-to-perm basis.

Hours – Shifts (12-hour days and nights)
Salary – £30,000 + shift allowance

The role will involve the following: –

1. Organisation of the work-load to ensure high productivity is achieved whilst controlling costs and ensuring the timely investigation and communication of issues.
2. Understand the business priority and plan resources, working with supporting functions, to ensure focus is directed to the rights areas.
3. Unloading delivery vehicles in an efficient manner, giving attention to detail immediately flagging up any potential issues.
4. Loading trailers/containers efficiently
5. Deliver production plan agreed with Planning Team
6. Identify, expose and help resolve issues that prevent production performance.
7. Collate high quality downtime information suitable for identifying and resolving root causes of problems.

Qualifications:
Good standard of secondary education including reading, numerical ability,

Desirable but not essential:-
Lean manufacturing tools, eg TPM, 5S,
Understanding of basic H&S IOSH Working Safely Certificate
FMCG Company/Environment
Knowledge of Chemical / Process industry – safe handling of chemicals/good hygiene practices
Batch processing
Warehousing
NVQ level 2 in Manufacturing Operations

Rotating Night shifts – including weekends
