Allied Recruitment are looking for Warehouse operatives to work out of a busy client in Hatfield AL10.

Picking and Packing customer orders throughout our Customer Fulfilment Centre and are responsible for quality customer order fulfilment, for specified work areas, as well as escalating any personal, people, production, health and safety or food safety issues to the Team Managers and/or Coordinators.

JOB ROLES

INBOUND

• Receiving and decanting goods from suppliers into totes
• You must be physically fit for this role as it will involve long periods of standing and moving from station to station

ZONE PICK

• Picking and packing customer orders
• Working in chilled (0°c – 5°c) and ambient environments
• You must be physically fit for this role

FREEZER

• Picking and packing customer orders into a trolley, which is circulated around a freezer
• You must be physically fit for this role
• Working in frozen temperatures -28°c (PPE is provided)
• Must work well in a team environment

DISPATCH

• Repeat loading of shopping weighing up to 17.5kg onto frames
• Pushing dolly frames onto trailers and vans
• De-kitting frames and moving them around the site on Mechanical
• Handling Equipment
• Physically demanding role working full time in a chilled environment with a fair amount of lifting involved

• Productivity – ensure you deliver agreed productivity and throughout targets.
• Quality – focus on the customer experience and high quality standards, adhering to quality checking procedures.
• Process – ensure you are compliant with all operational processes applicable to the work area to drive efficiency.
• Health & Safety – ensure that safe systems of work are complied with and operated within your work area including working practices. Report any defective equipment or health and safety issues to the team manager as appropriate.
• Food Safety – ensure food safety compliance standards are met in your working area.
• Housekeeping & hygiene standards –maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of the work area to meet agreed standards, ensuring clean as you go procedures are followed.
• Continuous improvement – own and problem solve any minor production related issues as applicable, advising the team manager of the progress of such issues. Make recommendations for future improvements and best practice.
