Reeson Education are working with a delightful primary school located in the heart of South East London that are seeking a Clerical Officer to join their school asap. The role will be based on working 2 days per week and will be based on term time only. The role will be based on a temporary contract.

Main responsibilities

* To provide a warm, efficient and welcoming front line service for parents

and visitors to the Primary School.

* To form good relationships with the children, their families, and with

colleagues.

* To answer the telephone and deal with queries, and to ensure that

messages are communicated promptly, particularly to staff members.

* To manage own workload, ensuring deadlines are met and that a quality

service is provided.

* To assist in the despatch of all aspects of information to both parents and

others as directed.

* To assist in the production, copying and distribution of the Annual Report to

Parents, and other reports and/or letters as required.

* To sell miscellaneous school items to parents and students, issue receipts

and keep records of sales as appropriate.

* To undertake routine administrative duties, including word processing,

maintaining computer database, reprographics and filing.

* To assist with the provision of administrative and clerical work under the

direction and guidance of the School Business Manager.
