Salary: £34,800 – £40,800 per year
AR188 – Field Service Engineer (Fire & Security)
Location: Brighton
Salary: £29,000 – £34,000
Overview:
First Military Recruitment are currently seeking a Field Service Engineer in the Fire & Security industry on behalf of our clients.
The successful candidate will be required to attend customer premises on pre-booked appointments or at agreed times and Maintain Fire & Intruder alarms, CCTV, Access control systems and Extinguishers to the recommendations of British Standards.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- To provide a high level of maintenance and customer care
- To promote the company’s excellent service levels and reputation
- To liaise with the Service co-ordinator to ensure smooth operation for the company
- To carry out routine maintenance on all disciplines to British and company standards
- To ensure all Health and safety requirements are adhered to at all times
- To attend to emergency call outs if required. This includes the out-of-hours and weekend rota
- To carry out remedial works if required
- To ensure tools and spares are correct and levels kept in vehicles to company recommendations
- To ensure company vehicle is serviced, maintained and cleaned
- To carry out specific duties as directed by the company’s management, from time to time
Skills and Qualifications:
- Sound technical knowledge of Fire products and systems
- Sound technical knowledge of Intruder products and systems; training to be provided where needed
- Practical knowledge of Relevant British Standards
- Good knowledge of Health and safety
- Communication, organisational and inter personal skills
- Full UK driving licence
- Understanding of Health and Safety requirements

Salary: £29,000 – £34,000
