Warehouse Operatives

Currently recruiting on behalf of an online luxury fashion company looking for career motivated individuals to join there growing team.

Your key responsibilities as a distribution assistant is preparing orders for shipping in their signature packaging, ensuring that each customer receives a package that reflects this very high end brand. Your role as a distribution assistant is essential to the client experience.

Accountabilities
•Ensure all merchandise is allocated to the correct customer order.
•Inspect garments to ensure quality and verify all tags are attached and item has the correct SKU.
•Properly process defective/ faulty merchandise.
•Ensure quality, delivery and other objectives are met.
•Maintain a clean work environment by keeping area free of trash and product in correct locations.
•Prepare and pack orders according to company standards
•Working within a physically demanding enviroment

Skills/Experiences
•Previous experience of working in a distribution environment
•Experience of working in a team and ability to work on your own initiative
•Ability to follow work procedures and safety rules
•Ability to count accurately and to perform simple math calculations
•Ability to move products that may require reaching and/or lifting
•Have appropriate hand, eye and foot co-ordination to effectively use mechanical handling equipment

Working Hours

This contract will require you to work any 5 days out of 7, so flexibitly is essential

3 shifts available: – 0600-1400, 1400-2200 & 2200-0600

Car drivers prefered but is not esssential.
