Focus 5 Recruitment are recruiting for a React Native Mobile Developer to join an incredible company whose ambitions are to become the next Gymshark and Nike! 

They are evolving SportsWear as we know it, offering personalised wellness and performance insights through connected clothing. 

Our client integrates functionality and design to further understand human capability, using biometric data, AI, ML, and blockchain. Empowering people to better connect with their bodies, enabling them to live smarter, safer and healthier lives. 

The Mobile Developer role is a key role in delivering the roadmap of our clients consumer-facing applications. This is a key team for them ensuring that their app stays in line / ahead of our competitors. 

You will work as part of a dedicated team to deliver a quality react native app, that’s quick to market, constantly adds new value to the consumer and has a high standard of quality. 

You will work with the platform and integration team to ensure that the app can function with the various other products. 

Key Tasks: 

· Be self motivated and proactive in picking up development tasks through to completion while: 

o Collaborating with other developers in successful build, test and release of mobile products 

o Collaborating with designers, testers and the larger software & hardware engineering teams 

· Write and manintain unit tests for core application logic 

· Ensure development testing is complete across multiple devices and operating systems before handing over to QA 

· Contribute towards the peer review process 

· Supporting the QA team in end-to-end testing software application 

· Collaborating with other teams in the business 

· Incorporate end user feedback into the development process 

· Identifying areas for improvement and refactoring 

Training L&D 

· Pair and/or mob programming 

· Research into future technology and framework changes 

Management Information and Documentation 

· Writing and maintaining technical and non-technical documents 

· Keep software ticket information up to date and accurately representing tasks
