Graduate B2B Sales Trainee – Great Opportunity

Bridgewater Resources UK are recruiting for a group of market-leading businesses supplying a wide range of electrical equipment to business and trade customers. They are currently looking for a Graduate B2B Sales Trainee to join their vibrant and successful team in Bootle.

This is an outstanding opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a commercial environment and work your way up within a large organisation. The company offers products and skills training in various fields of business, including sales, purchasing, administration, logistics and accounts. Initially this will involve answering calls from customers, taking orders, providing technical information or resolving queries, responding to incoming faxes and emails and making proactive outbound calls to existing customers. You will also liaise with suppliers and prepare quotations. In 2 – 3 months you will progress to an external sales role which will involve going on customer visits and developing relationships with the clients face to face. This will come with a package including a mobile, laptop and a car hence driving licence is required. All this experience should prepare you for a management role in the future.

We are looking for ambitious university graduates with relevant degrees who want a career in a business to business sales environment and who have the drive and determination to succeed in this role. Many of the current management team joined the business as trainees. The candidates will be well-presented, motivated, confident and enthusiastic quick learners with an excellent telephone manner and good administration skills. Some customer service and/or sales experience is required. There are excellent opportunities for career progression within the company and the group.

The starting salary is £26,000 – 20,000 per annum depending on experience. This will be supplemented by annual performance-related bonus and optional membership of the company pension scheme.
