CNC Lathe Programmer

Are you an experienced CNC Programmer with experience in Fanuc Controls, from a Engineering background, looking for a new opportunity to join a new and developing company with excellent career opportunities in the future.

The suitable candidate will have the following skills and be able to demonstrate their application in previous job roles:-

Experienced CNC Programmer
Minimum of 2 – 5 years experience in CNC programming
Fanuc experience is an ideal but not essential

Ability to programme CNC lathes
Able to interpret engineering drawings
From a Precision Engineering environment, ideally Aerospace and/or multiple parts / sub assembly manufacturing background

In addition, it would be beneficial to have:-

Knowledge of precision engineering processes such as fabrication, machining would be desirable
Computer Literate
Hands On Team Player, able to work at all levels

The role:-

As a CNC Programmer, you will work from engineering drawings of company components to be manufactured, deciding various machining operations required to manufacture the finished job, the sequence in which the machine operations have to be carried out, material requirements, and calculating the time required for manufacture.
Reporting to, and working closely with the Production Manager to ensure that production targets are met, and liaising with a small team.
