Delighted to be supporting an established client to hire a Scrum Master / Delivery Lead at an exciting time of change and transformation across the organisation. The Delivery Lead will be responsible for the successful delivery of integration developments. Acting as a ‘Scrum Master’ within the Integration Development Team they will be a servant leader enabling the team to work effectively and ultimately meet sprint goals. They will need to work with key stakeholders and other IT colleagues to resolve blockers or impediments that arise at the various stages of delivery. They will also work closely with the Integration Product Manager to ensure work flowing into the team is sufficiently defined, can be appropriately delivered and generally acting as the voice of the development team.
Responsibilities:
- Facilitating Scrum events/ceremonies such as daily standup, sprint review/retrospective.
- Ensuring the successful delivery of sprint goals by removing any blockers or impediments.
- Provide dashboards/reports that articulate burndown/velocity trends and other key delivery information to stakeholders.
- Encourage and actively participate in continuous improvement of delivery.
- Ensure developments meet the agreed requirements, architecture and quality standards.
- Work closely with Integration Product Manager to plan future sprints and ensure that the needs of the development team are satisfied to ensure successful delivery.
Person Specification:
- Broad experience of technical delivery, ideally as a Scrum Master.
- Strong experience of working with development teams and an understanding of the development lifecycle
- Experience of working within an Agile Framework e.g. Scrum
- Experience of managing the activities of others in a technical delivery team.
- Knowledge of systems integration, its purpose, the challenges, and a high-level overview of how middleware works
- Demonstrable aptitude in forming effective professional relationships and networks
