CDM Consultant/Principal Designer
£40,000 – £45,000 + Benefits
Bromley, South East (Remote Based)
My client is a market-leading, multi-disciplinary consultancy that providing a wide range of high-quality safety and compliance services to a large portfolio of clients across the UK and afar. Due to ongoing growth, they are looking to recruit a talented CDM Consultant/Principal Designer to join their team growing in the South East.
As a CDM Consultant/Principal Designer, you will be required to plan, monitor and co-ordinate health and safety risks in the design phase of pre-phase construction projects and advise clients on all H&S and CDM regulations. You will act as Principal Designer on a number of projects in the commercial and residential sectors, as well as carry out site safety inspections, attend design team and project team meetings and conduct design risk reviews.
What are we looking for?
NEBOSH Construction certificate and NEBOSH National Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety or equivalent
Minimum 3 years’ experience working in a CDM advisor role or construction safety role
Excellent working knowledge of CDM2015 and H&S legislation
Grad or Chartered membership of IOSH & APS (Association for Project Safety)
Full driving license with a flexible approach to travel
Excellent client facing skills with the ability to understand clients’ needsA basic salary of up to £48,000 – £54,000is on offer, along with a very attractive benefits package and ongoing career and professional development.
