Salary: £26,400 per year

Sue Ross Recruitment are working with a leading manufacturer of specialist dietary foods.

They are currently recruiting for a Supply Chain Co-ordinator to join their dedicated team.

Working closely with the Supply Chain Manager, you will have a varied and interesting workload that will include the following:

* Co-ordinating inbound and outbound traffic, maximising cost-effectiveness and tracking all consignments.

* Assisting with monitoring customer and supplier delivery schedules, the flow of materials and components to conform to production schedules including tackling any challenges such as late deliveries and claims.

* Assisting with co-ordinating and expediting placement of purchase orders.

* Assisting with raising and distributing production schedules.

* Monitoring both internal and external inventory, including monthly internal stock taking and reconciliation.

* Raw material and packaging portfolio maintenance including keeping prices up to date and competitive and finding new suppliers.

* Working closely with the operations team on a daily basis regarding matters relating to customer and material requirement issues.

* Liaising with the Warehouse Co-ordinator on a daily basis regarding inbound and outbound deliveries.

* Assisting with the preparation of management reports.

* Monitoring and reporting key performance indicators

* Develop new and existing professional relationships with relevant internal and external parties.

* Reporting into and providing general day to day support to the Supply Chain Manager.

Candidate Requirements:

* Experience in implementing or managing Supply Chain Resource Planning Systems would be beneficial.

* High level of Microsoft Excel knowledge required.

* Strong problem solving, negotiation and organisational skills.

* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal and confident in dealing with all levels of staff across the business.

* Confident building relationships with external parties.

* Ability to work both autonomously and under direction.

* Ability to work well under pressure and maintain accuracy.

* Full, clean UK driving licence and car.
