Salary Circa in excess of £48,000per annum
Our client is a market leader in the global transportation of bulk liquids and powders in tank and box containers, a position achieved by putting customers first and providing an ever improving service.
To maintain and enhance the service and commitment to customers, our client now need to recruit flexible and committed LGV Class One Drivers for both the liquid and powder divisions operating from West Thurrock.
Responsibilities will include loading, discharging, cleaning and the shipment of de-mountable containers that will be transporting a vast range of Hazardous / Non-hazardous bulk liquids and powders (including granules, pellets on powder business). You will be mainly working around the London area, however occasional overnight stays will occur (average 1-2 nights away per week).
You will average between 55-60 hours per week. This is not just a Monday to Friday job as weekend work is also required so flexibility is a must.
Our client is looking for previous driving experience, and Class 1 licence. Applicants for Liquids position must possess a current ADR certificate (in tanks), whilst applicants for the powders position must possess bulk powder tipping experience.
You will have a flexible attitude and good organisational and communication skills, ensuring the timely delivery of product.
