Supply Chain Manager – Fresh Produce

Salary: £30,000 – £36,000 per year

Our UK client is leader in the Fresh Sector, sourcing specific fresh produce globally for the major retailers. As part of on-going succession policy, they wish to source the highest calibre Supply Chain Specialist to take their growth to the next stage.

Controlling the company’s supply chain link from a range of international growers and packers, you will support in the planning and execution of the supply chain strategy. Plan, implement and control supply chain. Supply & Demand Planning, Inbound Logistics, Operations & Outbound Logistics. You will be responsible for the Supply & Demand Planning team. Manage contracts with logistics vendors, implement processes, procedures, and SOP’s with internal and external stakeholders, KPI and reporting, all aligned with Company’s strategy. You will also generate efficiencies and savings.

Your supply chain experience will include in-depth knowledge of the Fresh Produce sectors and international supply markets. Exceptional knowledge of road and sea supply chain will combine with your mastery of commercial negotiation and your ability to effectively lead your team as you develop the business area further.
